The "Brewery" fires have been cold for so long it was nice to finally get some wort for the yeasties to chew on. Pouring a copper gold with a small white head, it seems to suffer a bit of chill haze but clears as it warms. The nose isn't challenged to find melon, lychee, lemon grass, green grape, white wine, and a mild grainy malt. It does present some boozyness as well in the taste as the nose. This boozyness in the taste helps accentuate a mild white wine flavour. All the aromatic notes seem.to appear on the tongue as well which also lends a bit to the wine like sensation. It's not very bitter, but is well balanced. The final notes of the sip are the grainy malt to smoothe out the experience. I'm happy with how it turned out.
