Legend says that during the time of the Conquistadors, there was a local king in the Amazon forest who was bathed with gold dust for purification. He was El Dorado, The Golden One. The legend grew to become a Golden City and quickly turned into the holy grail of South America, searching after which scores of explorers lost their lives. The Golden Uncle New England IPA is an ode to the legend, given its amazing golden color and the use of an enormous amount of El Dorado hops, combined with Citra and Mosaic for maximum juiciness.
