Ruddles Best
3.7% Bitter
This is an English ale with hoppy, citrus undertones balanced with bitterness and a light sweetness. It has an aroma that is packed with soft fruit notes and a clean, moreish finish. Available in cask, smooth and sparkling.

Noticed it seems to get reasonably poor reviews on pint please so figured I'd try it whilst choice was limited & in fairness I found it a fairly traditional bitter. The recipe has markedly changed over the years since Greene King acquired Ruddles brewery & it's much less bitter & more malty which rather resembles their IPA but for 3.4% & £1.79 pint there's nout to complain about

Ok. Just a bit flat taste wise but at 1.79 you can’t complain!

The worst beer at Wetherspoons would not recommend even for the price of £1.29
