Tasting, kolmonen, vaalean kellertävä, samea, ei edeltävien ruissahtien paksuutta, kevyempi maku, hapokkuus.

Makea tekele. Melko hiilihapoton, mutta muuten maistuva ölyyt.

XXIV Finnish Sahti Days @ St Urho's Pub: still one more. Because I like. 😋
Relatively cloudy, deep amber beer with no carbonation as it's poured from the canister. The appearance is, notwithstanding, not entirely murky but as a matter of fact allows faint rays of light come through.
The fragrance is wellnigh zero. It's unexpected since Sahtis tend always to emit fruity, mostly banana-like aromas.
The taste, fortunately, saves the reputation of this highly traditional and skilled Sahti brewer: this Sahti, as well, follows a pretty fruity and surprisingly light road. I get fermented banana, fermented apricot, a tad lemon zest and a pinch of bitter orange peel. The wheat malt is there, yet not particularly hefty provided this is a Wheat Sahti.
The body is, again, light. The beer finishes with fresh citrusy notes, followed by a decent amount of fermented banana, distant canned apricot and and a bit of wheat malt that is though not stuffy. The aftertaste rolls on tongue over short to medium duration.
The mouthfeel is light, again surprisingly refreshing and summery. It's also somewhat sticky and reasonably lip-glueing. The refreshing and summery character must be, at least partially, the low ABV (6.5 %) for the Sahti standards that makes this truly gluggable and unchallenging even for a Sahti rookie. Tasty but doesn't fully meet my expectations of a real traditional Sahti.
