Fresh, sour, Berliner Weisse based sour beer Miami Weisse is a radical raspberry bomb. Among the pils and wheat malts, oat gives more rounded mouth feel for this noble drink. Sonny and Rico were seeking something like this decades ago - without any success.

Extended Quarantine Day #65. Two cheapies as their best before date is approaching soon.
Murky, plum-juice-colored beer with restrained carbonation creates a mediocre, frogspawn-resembling head that just covers the top and melts rapidly to flat still. No traces can be found on the wall of the glass.
The scent displays a cocktail of raspberry, prune, a bit of raisin and a whisper of date. Interesting since raspberry is the only of those four potential ingredients that the beer actually contains. Not sure if it's the age but who cares. I guess nobody expected a glorious triumph anyway.
Then, the gustatory supply: I can pick a tad raspberry and an equal amount of prune, accompanied by medium-sour lingonberry, cranberry and faint overripe apple.
The body is light. Prune takes the lead in the finish and dominates over raspberry, cranberry and lingonberry. The aftertaste confuses the tastebuds for a short time but fortunately vanishes rather quickly.
The mouthfeel is light, somewhat tart and a bit puckering, rather flat as well as autumnal. Not particularly bad but not a success either.
