Muddy, deep dark Burgundy beer. Awesome looking beer! The rich, sustained carbonation unlocks a tiny-bubbled, light pink head that elevates up to two fingers. The foamy cap descends rather rapidly to a hair-thin lace ring and eventually flat still. No splashes are left behind. The olfactory package contains generous sour cherry that dominates over any other nuance but a faint nuance of clove. The palate displays loads of sour cherry that is dominant. I also find a nice injection of lingonberry, cranberry and a gentle hint of rowanberry somewhere in the distance. Clove is present, as well. Basil is considerably weak but can be found with lively imagination. The body is light-medium. The beer ends with medium-sour cherry, a bit of raspberry and easily recognizeable lingonberry. Basil is dead. The finish lingers on tongue for a long time. The mouthfeel is substantially juicy, slightly lip-glueing and colossally gardeny. It's also faintly heavy and mouthcoating.
