Halfway through Western Herd beers. Thanks! Although I hope that the last three will be better than the first.. 0,44l can from Spiegelau IPA-glass. Canned in April. Can design is good and it would catch my eye. Hazy yellow beer with orange tint. Biiiiiiig white foam. Overcarbed again. Dry grassy scent with some lemon. Too high carbonation. Mouthfeel is thin and watery. A tad of powderish sensation. Pretty dry lemon and hay first bite. Some grass and bitter grapefruit. Very dry and draw pineapple on the background. Unpleasant metallic note. Notes of flowers and peach here and there. Ends with dry hay and bitter lemon. Not bad, but not great either. Too much carbonation and unpleasant metallic taste. Best from Western Herd so far, but I would buy this.

Free sample received from Pint Please to review. Thanks! Western Herd - Islander IPA BB 27/04/22. Seemingly fresh. Label art similar to previous two. Clear design, but not recognisable out of mass. Foamed out the can a bit. Good start. Too much foam to be measured. Hazy, dark-ish yellow color. Sharp scent, bits of citrus there. That yeasty aroma once again. This will be contamined, I think. Yup. Tastes like a Belgian IPA sort of. Yeast, spoiled fruits, metal. Body is light and too carbonated. Spoiled, spoiled. Yet to taste a beer that does not have off flavours from this brewery. Well, still 3 to go I think.
