Flight of six. This brewpub serves a flight from the list of their own beers. You have to choose the six first beers from the list. I happen to have already tasted one of them (June 2018), so only five deserve a detailed analysis. Of course, I will have to recheck the sixth one if I'm still of the same opinion with myself. 🤔
Flight 1/6.
Opaque, black beer with moderate, introvert carbonation unlocks a velvety, fawn head that climbs up to one finger.
The scent displays burned malt with a slightly skunky tang. The taste is bitter burned malty and tangy citrusy, leaving a decent amount of charred hops, faint licorice and a drop of overstayed black coffee in the mouth.
The light-bodied beer finishes with relatively bitter, burned malt, a tad grated lemon peel, distant licorice and s tiny pour of bitter black coffee. The aftertaste lingers on tongue for a short to medium time.
The mouthfeel is rather watery, somewhat charred, light-crisp and very remotely medicinal. It's also a bit stale.
