Bought at a medieval market from some lovely people who were genuinely proud of their community and local products. A good start! Full-bodied and richly malty. Quite sweet but in a "natural way". Hints of plum, apricot and smoke. Nutty and slightly metallic. ESB-style definitely, but could be a bit more bitter for my taste. Good notheless!
