I love the smoke aftertaste

On the fence for this one. The first pint was overpowered leaving nothing but the sense of smoke. Gave it a second go, other flavours are coming through and the smoke is still there at the end. But no longer overpowering.

Slightly excited pour, causing an ice cream like head to occur. Deep brown with mocha head, nose is smokey. Mouthfeel is quite effervescent which I hope will calm a little. Malty darkness! Liquorice... Bitter treacle and finally loads of smoke on the finish. Tremendous!
