4.2
Dark #2 is impenetrable, brilliantly glowing dark brown. The head is relatively restrained, light tan, and erratic. It descends fast to a thin lace ring in the sides.
This edition is 11 % instead of 16.5 % that the profile sample displays.
The fragrance is astonishingly limited: I spot toasted coconut flakes, dark chocolate and raw cacao powder, in a diminishing order and in small quantities in general.
The gustatory sphere swells considerably from what the scent suggests: sweet dark chocolate, chocolate ice cream, coconut, syrup, oat biscuit and loads of lactose. Perhaps a hint of cold-brew coffee can be added to the cocktail description.
The body is full. The end is chocolatey and ice-creamy where coconut regains its light-toasted flavor.
The mouthfeel is full, sticky, chewy, desserty and somewhat sappy. It's deep, heavy, intense and adjuncted. Despite sweetness, more manageable in small quantities than #1.
