Golden coloured ale and centrifuge-spun to be extremely clear. Moderately strong in alcohol which adds a slight punch to the otherwise medium bodied and mild flavour. The medium mouthfeel is enhanced by notes of bread and stone fruit sweetness.

The 10th beer from this month's Beer 52 New England, Maine box. It pours deep gold in colour with a white head. Aroma has hints of malts and pear drop sweets. Flavour is like pear drop sweets too, with a lingering tangy, bitter finish. A bit too much alcohol in the flavour too, despite its strength.

Nothing summery about this ale, was expecting nice fresh flavours and all I got was a stronger tasting old school ale.
