Had this on draft. A 4 oz flight. Stong aroma. Strong flavor. Maple and brown sugar flavor come at you strong. Has a finish that is very sweet maple and slightly bitter. Can feel the high alcohol content. This is a desert beer for me. Enjoyed one, don't think I would go for three or four. But still, I recommend it for a fun brew.

Lactose sweetness and maple syrup in the aroma, as promised. Taste has maple syrup front and center. The lactose is apparent, adding not only body, but also a different sweetness that goes well with the maple syrup. Roasted malts and maybe a hint of chocolate are the last to show up. Very tasty. Full body and sticky on the lips with an appropriately lower amount of carbonation. Bravo! Well done. Bourbon barrel age this and it could be epic! 4.5/5
