THE TREAT FOR THE MODERN GENTLEMEN (OR LADY) The start of every good story…back in 1935 Bill Magner was partial to the odd tipple of whiskey from the numerous illicit stills operating in Ireland. He had a good nose for quality and a great head for business and soon found that he’d discovered a marriage made in heaven: Apple Cider & Irish Whiskey. Unfortunately, in the mid 1930’s, customs raids cracked down on illicit stills and he never made his dream a reality. In 2015, to celebrate William Magner’s 80th anniversary, we’ve re-created his infamous concoction and we are proud to present the new member of the family: Magners Cider with a hint of smooth Irish whiskey.
