One more small mead for the road. I'm glad these guys sell very small portions (1 dl) since these meads can be oversweet and high-ABV. The mead colors fully cloudy, deep ruby. Again, no carbonation, no head. The nostrils like the aromas of hefty black currant mash and blueberry nectar. Otherwise I can't find anything to be specified, just a recognizeable vinous twist lingers in the air -- again. The tastebuds like the medium-sour black currant nectar and strong blueberry. They both have been embedded on a light-sour, fruit-vinous foundation. No overly sugar concentration. The drink finishes with fruit wine, particularly black currant nectar, black currant mash and blueberry nectar. The aftertaste rolls on tongue for some time, longer than that of the White Mead edition. The mouthfeel is lip-glueing and somewhat mouthcoating, a bit sappy but manageable. It's also significantly gardeny, very summery, rich in berries and, interestingly also, faintly tart. And this seemed to be my tenth Mead. 🐝 😂

Vadelmaisen punaista ja sameahkoa. Ei vaahtoa. Tuoksu hapan, marjainen ja punaviinimäinen. Maku kuin itsetehtyä punaviiniä punaviinimarjoista. Maussa makeutta, marjaisuutta ja happamuutta. Valkoista versiota parempi muttei täysillä iske tämäkään.
