Clear, straw mead with zero carbonation leaves the surface unheaded. The fragrance resembles dry apple wine and a very distant note of honey. The taste offers more of what I wanted to experience: relatively easily identifiable honey in which semidry apple wine and medium-sour apple mash feature nicely. The taste is astonishingly vinous but not tanniney. This is really nice, alcohol is neatly hidden and the mouth doesn't get glued because of the overwhelming sweetness. The drink finishes rather short with semisweet white wine, light-sour apple juice and mashed white currant. Honey is nowhere. The mouthfeel is surprisingly light, somewhat vinous and medium-dry. I have to admit that I'm not an expert in meads but this is rather good and gluggable.

Hyvin haalean keltaista ja kirkasta. Ei vaahtoa. Tuoksu hapan jopa etikkamainen. Maku myös hyvin hapan ja valkoviinimäinen. Mukana pieni makeus ja aurinkorasvan aromi taustalla. Kuin itsetehtyä viiniä. Ei välttämättä mikään paras juoma.
