Asked if the bar had any better beers than the ones on the counter. Well, they surely do have. This one's brewed somewhere between 2013 and 2014. Best before 12/15. Last review in Pint Please is from 2014 July. Bottle conditioned for almost or more than five years. It's rare to find a beer that's been brewed before I turned to legal age. Price was extremely steep, glad we shared this. (Likely the most expensive I've ever bought from a bar) Rather good a barley wine. Very round feel and taste, likely due to long age. Earlier reviews by Jaskankaljat in 2014 mention fruitiness and loads of hops like the American Barley wine this is supposed to be, but those have likely died out on this bottle. Loads of toffee, malts, dryness and not overly sweet one. Good mouthfeel. Nice little rarity for the evening ender. They still got few bottles left, go there and buy em before it's too late.

Hnnh, kylmänä oli pistävän viinamaista mutta lämmettyään lämpenin minäkin tälle. Hyvä Barney wine, ei voi muuta sanoa.

Todella hyvä ja hieno, mutta vahvuutensa ja makumaailmansa ansiosta pullo pitää kyllä melkein jakaa kaverin kanssa

Luultavasti paras maistamani barley wine. Löytyy vaikka mitä aromeja ja silti niin pehmeä.
