It pours almost black, reddish brown at edges with virtually no head. Aroma is of brown sugar. Flavour is sweet with brown sugar and, thankfully, not much alcohol, despite the strength. It doesn't have that Belgian yeast taste, which I would expect from a quadrupel but it's a tasty sipper of a beer.
