I got a taste of this as i licked a drop off the neck of the bottle and I'm pretty excited now. Huge cherries in the aroma. Both chocolate and vanilla show up next. I'm not gonna lie, the cherry smells a bit medicinal, but hopefully the taste isn't. Taste has chocolate and cherries first, followed by vanilla. Unfortunately, the cherry is very medicinal, especially in the aftertaste. Bummer. The chocolate and vanilla are very tasty. If the cherries were less medicinal, this could be outstanding or possibly world class, but that just isn't the case. The 13.2% abv is virtually nonexistent, so that's a plus. Cherry is hard to incorporate into beer, and they all can't be winners. Body is full and the carbonation is appropriately low. The only thing ruining this one is the robitussin tasting cherry flavor. 2/5 The drop I tasted led me to believe this would be a 5 star beer, but unfortunately that wasn't the case.
