Dank Juice
7.0% New England IPA / Hazy IPA
Deliciously dank and a bit of a cult classic, our big hazy 7% IPA is packed with copious amounts of down, dirty and chewy hops. Triple dry-hopped with Cashmere, Chinook, Citra and Mosaic for an aroma of grassy dankness, stone fruit, citrus and pine fills up your senses. Beautifully ripe papaya, stone fruit, gooseberry and subtle melon will coat your mouth, followed by a lingering herbal dankness. It's soft, smooth and full of triple-hopped dank goodness! THIS BEER IS VEGAN

Wonderful gloopy mouthfeel, cashmere shines through nicely. Certainly 'Dank' and very moreish, i only wish i'd bought more. Probably the best unbarred beer i've ever tried.

This is lovely Everything I want in a beer It is indeed Dank Juice, it’s so dank, it’s hoppy, it has a slight bitterness, a slight fruitiness and slight citrus twang

What a great beer. Smooth and pillow of softness. Grapefruit plum peach pineapple. As it warms it just gets better and better. At a 7% too it goes down too easy and is hard to forget at this strength.

I had this brew a few years ago and really liked it. I haven't had any Unbarred for quite a while, last one was probably the awesome Stoutzilla. Pale amber coloured and very hazy with only minimal visible carbonation. Pithy citrus zest and pine on the nose with stone fruit. Soft and very smooth in the mouth, rounded but inexplicit fruitiness ending with a herbal pine dankness. Grapefruit, peach, pineapple, plum, gooseberry and melon flavours arise as the beer slowly warms, the most prevalent of which being grapefruit. It's silky and refreshing and at this point it's good to remind myself it's a 7% IPA, which is nowt to sniff at. That's pretty substantial and there's no clue to this ABV, so it's well covered by the hops. Speaking of which, this beer is triple dry hopped and brewed with four classic craft beer hops in Cashmere, Chinook, Citra and Mosaic, the former two don't get much of a look-in these days. With all these hops aligned you'd think it would make the pine very strong but it's not nearly as strong as American brews. The dankness is oily which contributes to this beers smoothness, it's resinous and accumulative on the tongue. It's pleasant to drink. It's difficult to pick out a load of different fruits but having all these aligned hops contributing citrus flavours you could expect a sharp lemon IPA style result, thankfully that isn't the case. It's impressively smooth, soft and rounded. Easy drinking, yet hoppy, rich and pale ale-like refreshment. The citrus, hop and pine flavours well balanced. It's well executed, harmonious and it only gets better as it breathes and warms. In fact the hoppiness really expands over time and realises the triple hop process. Its one of Unbarred's best IPAs for my preferences.
