Two quick ones @ Pien. A DIPA 8 % and a NEDIPA 8.5 %. Not too different from each other. Beer #1 is noticeably darker than the second beer. The color is dark dirty orange, naturally turbid. Looks very much like banana nectar. Not particularly beautiful but let's not judge the content by the appearance. This beer builds a smaller head, pure white and less than half a finger in height. Lovely peach and tangerine in the air. And mango, absolutely. Maybe a small injection of sweet nectarine can also be spotted. A general sugary vibe lingers in the air, can't yet verify it in greater detail. Peach, tangerine, lemon and raw mango land on the tongue. The sweet whizz is lactose but it's significantly less pronounced than what one can experience in the scent. Oat flakes do their job in the basement. The body clocks medium-full to full. I guess it's fair to call this 'full'. The finish gears more in the citrusy direction and offers bags of peels and raw flavors. Dry hops dominate in the end. Clearly. Almost a bit of hop burn, but then... nothing. The mouthfeel is full, juicy, pulpy, pithy, surprisingly crisp, dry and drying. Confusing – in a positive sense – since this portrays both NEDIPA elements and also those of a classical DIPA. A good piece anyway.

Kurzrezi aus dem Braustättchen: Ein hazy IPA, welches optisch seinem Namen alle Ehre macht. Tropisch fruchtig in der Nase. Sehr weicher Antrunk, kurz vor cremig. Sofort wird die Nase aufgenommen, Bittere hängen. Bei diesem NEIPA bleibt es beim Ersteindruck, es baut sich weder Frucht, Säure noch Bittere weiter auf.

Gutes double IPA, für den hohen Alkoholgehalt fehlt das besondere

Utuinen, vaaleahko keltainen. Runsaat vaahdot. Tuoksu sitruksinen ja viljainen. Maku greippinen, pikkaisen hedelmää, viljaisuutta ja yrttisyyttä(BB6/6/22) ikä painaa. Hyvä olut.
