다른 향 없이 딱 IPA맥주이다. 적당히 쓰고 적당히 탄산있고. 다만 개인적으로 IPA를 선호하지 않을 뿐

Yet another Ontario-based NEIPA, to be precise: from Baysville. The beer fills the glass as relatively foggy, deep dark orange. The introvert carbonation sets an off-white, small-bubbled head that remains below one finger's height and dissolves fairly soon to a thin lacing on top. Just a few minuscule splashes can be detected on the glass.
The nose enjoys a juicy cocktail of orange, mandarin and a tiny injection of kumquat, accompanied by a suggestion of caramel and truly remote oat biscuit.
The taste profile puts forward zesty grapefruit, lemon peel and bitter orange peel. I can also detect grassy hops and faint oat flakes. Unfortunately the sweeter citruses are camouflaged to me. Hence, what started attractive on the nose, gets somewhat flattened on the taste receptors.
The body is relatively light. The beer finishes with astonishingly rapidly with a light-hoppy package of grapefruit, lemon peel and a pinch of spruce needles. The aftertaste is less inviting than the actual taste and especially the fragrance. It's by no means bad but it's rather distant from Vermont.
The mouthfeel is light, rather juicy, a bit dank, extraordinarily refreshing and a tad crisp.
The building that consists of two half ovals in the lower left picture is the Toronto City Hall. It was designed by Viljo Rewell, a Finnish architect, and completed in 1965.
