Happy Friday. Has a medium to strong hoppy bitterness that is citrusy with a piney resin. In the background there are notes of toasted caramel, raisin & chocolate. Overall Maine Brewing Co comes thru (again) with a complex tasting red ale. This is very IPA like and tasty. I'm always on the look out for their beers as most are all that. This is an easy 4.25 - borderline 4.5.
