Janine & Dominic return from the west coast of America, fired up with enthusiasm to create a strong red ale. The name comes from an area of Ashover once renown for the noise of the frame knitting machines.

Big malty flavours. Heavy bitterness married with some sweet caramel. This beer is all about the the malt. Bloody brilliant, heavy creaminess and soft mouthfeel. Cask beer at its best

A nice malty aroma and a nice warming mouthfeel with hints of black treacle not sure where the hops are but I don’t care this beer is great ashover brewery deliver every time

Very full in taste. Strong bitter taste. Chewy so not that enjoyable.
