South Bruny Island, off the southeast coast of Tasmania. The water in the picture is The Tasman Sea. There's nothing between us and Antarctica but around 5400 km of sea.
Enjoyed straight from the bottle on the beach. The bottle is brown, impossible to assess the appearance.
The head is abundant and colors off-white. The nose receives dry dark malt, toasted rye bread and a faint smoky aroma.
The tongue enjoys semidry dark malt, a tad toasted rye bread, a faint bitter smoky nuance and very distant tar. The beer ends with bitter, light-smoky dark malt, a drop of tar, reasonable hops and toasted rye bread. The aftertaste lingers on tongue for some time.
The mouthfeel is crisp, slightly burned, very remotely charred and medium-dry.
