A generous well packed head of tight stained ivory bubbles rides atop an attractive copper amber colored beer. The nose enjoys ample and hefty aromas of a blended fruit and pine hops banquette. The fruitiness seems to my tastes to be equal parts citrus, melon, and stonefruit. Strong malts carry the hops and boozy components on it's back. The tongue revels in sweet thick flavours. Heavy, creamy malts with caramel and dark breads. The muddles fruit maintains its mixed nature. The alcohol is very warm and present. Strong, sweeter than balanced, thick with aromatics, this is a tasty big beer.
