Taking its name from England’s rousing rugby anthem, Swing Low is a crisp, balanced beer that will strike a chord with all fans of the oval ball. Brewed to just 3.5% ABV, it’s a hoppy, sessionable ale that shows you don’t have to be strong to be a star of the Six Nations…

Ok, so I’m not a fan of Rugby AT ALL but thought I’d try this while it’s all going on. (Best of a bad bunch in the local pub). First of all, the beer is completely see through in the glass. No haze whatsoever! You’d kind of expect that from a bog standard British brown ale. It claims to be a hoppy session ale. There is a SLIGHT hint of British hop in the aroma but nothing major. It’s slightly bready with some biscuit malt in the aroma also. The taste... little to NO hop character! It was your typical British brown ale that is seriously dying a death! The old school brewers either need to get rid of them completely or do something to make the beers compete with the ACTUAL hoppy session ales out there. Bland, boring and not very refreshing. Very malty in the taste. I get why old brewers stick with this style... but it’s 2019. Move on.

A freebie from the Fullers brewery tour. It’s an ok IPA. Very drinkable but nothing special
