Flight 4/4. Impenetrable, deep dark purple beer with a tall, velvety, blueberry-ice-cream-colored head. It all looks exceptionally attractive! The nose enjoys the nuances of soft, oven baked blueberry pie, faint dough and a bit of wheat bun. The tongue follows with light-sour blueberry nectar, faint blackcurrant and a grapefruity suggestion. The body is light to light-medium. Blueberry juice remains as the only component to the very end. The aftertaste allows the tastebuds to enjoy over short to medium duration. The mouthfeel is moderately tart, truly juicy and natural. It's also surprisingly thick, very soft as well as a tad milkshakey. Beautiful creation this one, too!
