I'm actually drinking an 8.0% version which is limited to 4000 bottles and purchased in Dec 18. Seeing as I haven't had the 7.2 version I can't do a comparison. Deep dark red in colour no head (when poured slowly), can't come up with any names for the nose, mouth feel is smooth, luxurious and fruity, like minced fruits of a mince pie, along with cloves and all things Christmassy. It's also clearly the strength stated, smooth and easy but making the drinker aware of the alcohol, delayed the swallow to fully enjoy swirling this flavoursome nectar, finish is warm fruity and lingering.
