Broadside
4.7% English Strong Ale
Adnams Broadside commemorates the fierce battle of Sole Bay fought against the Dutch Republic in 1672 off the Southwold coast, just across the green from our brewery. The fullness of the beer makes it a good accompaniment for stews and steak or kidney and ale pies. All sausage dishes complement Broadside well. A mature cheese ploughmans or cheeseboard of hard English cheeses are a perfect match for bottled Broadside. (Contains Gluten).

Good tasty ale with a decent darkish colour. Great after taste that lingers. Good strength st 6.5 and cracking with a good slab of strong cheddar to accompany.

Smooth and easy drinking session ale. Nice malty aroma and taste with a subtle fruitiness mixed in. Enjoyable drink

Very nice strong dark ale with plenty of flavours going on. Not sure I get fruitcake like Adnams say, but rich yes, raisins maybe.
