Extended Quarantine Day #55. Hazy, orange beer with puffy but very hasty carbonation releases a soapy, huge-bubbled head that reaches one finger. The froth dissipates soon to a thin lace ring on top. No splashes are left behind. The olfactory composition is a meager medley of wheat malt and unidentified citrus. Really simple and rather uninspiring albeit not deterring. The taste profile is decent with light-hopped wheat malt, lemon peel and bitter orange peel. The hoppy side is a tad grassy. The gustatory package doesn't unfortunately carry this any further. The body is light, even somewhat thin. The citrusy-bitter-grassy combination continues to the end as well. I can't detect any change from upfront. The aftertaste teases the tastebuds over medium duration. The mouthfeel is thin, effervescent and somewhat tangy. Basically summery and even relatively refreshing but I wouldn't buy this again. The label says it's a Winter Ale. Not sure what it means here. Interestingly also, when this brewery started, its beers used to be appealing. Recently I have only had disappointments. The development has been unconvincing.

Aber hallo! Das nenn ich mal Hopfig, ganz schön heftig aber ich find es gut. Die Farbe ist Pils ähnlich in leicht trüb, heftig schäumend ist die Krone recht solide. Die 5,5% kommen mir irgentwie stärker vor. Alles in allem keine leichte Nummer aber wenn es etwas herber sein darf genau richtig. Die Jungs aus Finnland haben gute Arbeit abgeliefert. Von mir eine klare Empfehlung, Prost 🍻
