Straight from the can in the Cairns Botanic Gardens to beat the exhausting combination of heat and humidity. The scent is substantially fruity, offering first and foremost zesty lemon pulp, bags of grapefruit and a good dollop of morning orange juice. The tongue likes very much the light-tart citrusy cocktail of fresh pressed lemon, a generous punch of grapefruit, easily identifiable pomelo and a nice injection of sweet orange. I also find a bit of tangerine pith as well as faint pineapple. The light-bodied beer ends with slightly bittersour lemon zest and a good amount of grated lemon peel, accompanied by grapefruit and bitter orange peel. A drop of resin brings in a welcome piney twist. The aftertaste keeps the tastebuds active for some time. The mouthfeel is really juicy, distantly tart and simultaneously moderately crisp. It's also somewhat tropical and summery.
