Advent Calendar Day #11 This is one that was in my advent calendar 2 years ago. Let's see how I feel about it now. 2018 vintage. Bourbon, chocolate and roasted malts in the aroma. Taste has bourbon, chocolate, vanilla, oak and finishes with a decent dose of roasted malts. The mouthfeel is incredibly smooth, the body is medium-full and the carbonation is on the lower side. I don't remember this one being so smooth, although I didn't look at past reviews. Based on my memory, I'd say the cellar treated this one very well. Everything is there, nothing dominates, and the balance is great. Solid 4.25/5

Barrel Aged Advent Calendar beer Day #22 2018 vintage Bourbon, chocolate and light coffee. Taste has chocolate, bourbon and light coffee. Perhaps the coffee has faded, but either way, what's left is a solid stout. High 4/5

Nice bourbon throughout. This will probably age beautifully. 4/5

Vanilla and bourbon hit first in the aroma. Not much as far as coffee goes, but we'll see what the taste has to offer. Taste has bourbon first, followed by vanilla and oak. Still not really getting any coffee, but what is here is very tasty. I'm actually quite impressed with this one. Didn't really have high hopes going in, but now i'm considering buying more. Solid 4/5
