West Coast Road Trip
6.3% India Pale Ale
Tervetuloa makumatkalle aina Seattlesta San Diegoon!
IBU: 66
Hops: Amarillo, Citra, Columbus, Mosaic, Simcoe

Finnish Beer Day! 🇫🇮🍺 And some outdoor activities 🪵🌿🔥 Semifoggy, deep amber beer with regular carbonation unlocks a fluffy head that builds two fingers tall. The foamy crown shrinks fast to a messy cream tiara that adorns the top long. Mango, resin, pine needles and orange peel emanate to my nostrils. Lemon zest, a pinch of biscuit and marginal honey escort the main crew. Much less dry than I anticipate. The taste continues on the same path: fruity, relatively soft flavors dominate the concoction. I like orange peel, mandarin and lemon on the citrusy sphere. The other components include resin and a faint piney hint. I can't get any truly tropical nuances here anymore. Still, quite soft fruity for a West Coast IPA. The body is medium. The finish is bitter citrusy, slightly piney and resinous. Nice and easy. Get a blunt, roll the weed, light it up; sippin' on beer & juice, fill up your cups; the West Coast back crackin' like it's '94. The mouthfeel is medium, modestly crisp, smooth, even lip-glueing and merely remotely dry and drying. Nice and refreshing. And not demanding at all even if you are not a hophead.
