Úlfur Icelandic for “wolf” and an Icelandic given name, is a west coast, American-style IPA. Úlfur is dry hopped with American hops that give off a bitter and fruity aroma and a taste of citrus fruit (particularly grapefruit) and a delightful crispness that entices one to take another sip.

First beer of the trip . Straight off a Whale spotting tour, £10.70 this 3/4 pint cost me. Was expecting it to taste good … to be fair is an extremely nice tasting ipa. There’s a double Ulfur which is 9.3%!!
There’s a breeding here in Reykjavik so might have to check that out.

Was trinkt man in Dänemark? Natürlich ein IPA aus Island 😄.
Es ist ein klassisches American IPA, bei dem die 66 IBU gut zuschlagen. Das Geschmacksprofil ist mit floral, bitter leicht fruchtig und minimal harzig zu beschreiben.
Solides Handwerk, aber sicher kein All Day IPA.

Oikein toimiva ja juotava kokonaisuus. Katkeroa odotin kyllä enemmän ja lopussa kääntyy maku hieman makeaan. Iltaoluena toimii!
