Malted barley. Stronger, fuller, and with more hop intensity than the pale ale, but aiming to keep all elements in balance. And as with the pales, hops change from batch to batch.

Great all round beer. Tried it years ago in a dingy London restaurant and 4 years later it still tastes just as good. A sweet taste of what freedom used to taste like before the left started their culture war
