Bourbon, chocolate and a slight bit of a candy-like orange flavor. Taste has chocolate, bourbon and oranges. A good bit of oak from the barrel aging on the back end. A year in the cellar has definitely helped this one a lot. Last year, when it was fresh, it had a very medicinal orange flavor. Now the orange is much more tasty and complimentary to the beer. Still not a great beer, but this definitely has improved with age. Upgraded from a 3/5 to a high 3.75/5

I'm not getting a whole lot in the aroma. Some chocolate and oranges. My nose isn't working the best at the moment. Taste has lots of orange up front, followed by chocolate and bourbon. The orange is pretty medicinal to me, which is a bit offputting. We'll see how this is as it warms more. I want to love this beer, I want to like it, but I can't. The orange is pretty medicinal. The bourbon is nice. The chocolate is subtle. If the orange in here was more natural tasting, this could be an outstanding beer, but it just isn't. 3/5

Bourbon then chocolate then orange in the taste. Like an adult version of an orange tootsie roll pop. 4.25/5
