Hazy, copper beer with strong, sustained carbonation builds an off-white, velvety head that reaches one finger's height and settles gradually down to a neat lace ring. The nose receives strong toffee and a tad caramel, followed by a bit of sweet biscuit and a recognizeable note of whiskey oak barrel. The taste offers strong, somewhat tangy malt, bags of bitter bread and a distinct boozy nuance. A bit of harsh oaky aroma tickles the tastebuds. The body is medium. The beer finishes bitter malt, massive grain and a disturbingly noticeable alcoholic element. The aftertaste rolls on tongue for a long time. The mouthfeel is strong, somewhat tangy, relatively alcoholic, hence a bit chemical, as well as faintly crisp.
