Number three of four. Can pour started well with a nice mocha coloured foam but it dissipated too quickly and left the headless black body you see in the picture. Aroma is light espresso, brown sugar, maple syrup, candied nuts and cinnamon. Mouthfeel is a little light, but not thin. Carbonation is very mild and there is a subtle warmth Taste is malty dark chocolate at first, blends well with the espresso, then the maple syrup rides in with the cinnamon/brown sugar combo. I wasn't sure this would be good after the peanut butter cup version but I am pleasantly surprised.

Gourmande à souhait

Very rich, smooth and creamy. Not bitter. Would make a great coffee substitute.

Loved it and I'm not even a huge french toast fan.

A lot of the qualities of the regular version are lost with the addition of the French toast flavors, but it's a better beer, in my opinion. 4.25/5
