Blonde ales are good when eating. They are so middle of the road that they need some food to pair with. As blondes go this one was exactly that. Not malty, not bitter or hoppy, no overtones or undertones. Like all blondes very forgettable.

I have to bring this down a little. After drinking a good ole warsteiner I cracked one of these. The warsteiner is so much better. This is watery compared to it. I don’t know what I was thinking the first time around.

Happy Friday. Starting on the lighter side tonight. This hits you with some very light lemon that fades quickly. What sticks around is a nice wheaty taste with some very light honey. It is listed as a blonde ale but doesn’t quite taste like one. I find it is very drinkable and tasty.
