Early American colonialists, seeking natural ingredients for brewing ales, turned to pumpkins, which were plentiful, flavorful and nutritious. Blended with barley malt, pumpkins became a commonly used beer ingredient. Post Road Pumpkin Ale brings back this tasty tradition. Hundreds of pounds of pumpkins are blended into the mash of each batch, creating a beer with an orange amber color, warm pumpkin aroma, biscuity malt center, and crisp finish.

Decided to hit some pumpkin’s sitting around in da fridge.
This is pretty bad. This is very light tasting overall. Has cinnamon and nutmeg that has a perfume taste to it which should never be part of a beer description. There’s barely any pumpkin to it. I’m very disappointed especially for Brooklyn Brewery which usually has good beer.
I was thinking maybe it was old but has a best by date of 2/29/24 date. Pumpkin is so hit or miss from my opinion. Some are very good and some are really bad. They don’t seem to have an in between.

Bonne bière avec des notes de caramel léger et de citrouille bien présente mais sans être de trop, le tout est plutôt bien équilibré
