So this is my first Brut IPA and not exactly what I was expecting. It wasn’t very dry for a start, which I understood was the whole point, and it wasn’t heavily carbonated, which again I expected, so I’m not sure where to go with it. There was subdued fruity notes and I thought a wine like character but I may have imagined it. It had a slightly bitter ‘normal’ finish. I enjoyed it but didn’t find anything new here. Maybe it’s not a good example, time will tell once I’ve tried a few more.
