McEwan's Champion
7.3% Scotch Ale / Wee Heavy
You’ll have heard that looks can be deceiving. Well, McEwan’s Champion Ale is Exhibit A in proving that statement true. First impressions are of a sweet and fruity beer. But this delicate taste belies its power. As you fully get to know its intense flavours you’ll realise this is a very strong, dark and traditional ale. William McEwan would have been proud of it.

Scotland. Opted for a beer as I couldn’t find a tennents lager. Not a fan of this tbh whilst it is somewhat sweet for beer it does leave quite a sharp bitter taste behind, maybe because of the strength or maybe because I had a pork pie with it, but all in all I wouldn’t waste your time with this one

Vahva, makean maltainen ja bitteriäkin on aika reilusti.
