My sort of beer, a nice bitter citrusy IPA with a warmth from the alcohol

A mix of pilsner and east coast ipa. Wasn’t sure what to expect but this is very nice, especially the hops.

It starts off pretty bitter, and develops into a floral, strong-flavoured IPA. To my reckoning, a bit of a clash between the two flavours.

Hazy golden IPA, some head, hoppy floral aroma. First taste, sweetness, floral and hoppy, slight bitterness and citrus aftertaste.

Tasted like a weird but nice mix of an IPA and a clean tasting pilsner lager something I thought wouldn’t work but is actually VERY moreish. Shame I’ll never have it again as it’s an “exclusive” drop brewed just for BEER52, I was actually quite cross the last box was mostly “exclusives” (smacks a bit of ‘we can’t afford to supply proper beers’) but have to say this is a fantastic beer.
