An easy drinking beer, low in alcohol but refreshing. Dark flavours with a subtle sweetness. Made more enjoyable due to sipping at the Vat and Fiddle, the pub on the Castle Rock perimeter.

Almost a dark ruby colour, this is a dark bitter as opposed to a porter or stout. Excellent bitterness and flavour for its ABV. That's me for the evening and an excellent outing it has been. Not a single disappointer.
