Ich hatte heute Lust auf ein Kristall und habe deshalb im Supermarkt zu Erdinger gegriffen, da mich das silberne Etikett irgendwie sehr angesprochen hat. Von der Präsentation ist es ein wunderschönes Bier: Schönes klassisches Design auf der Flasche, strohgoldene Farbe, viel sichtbare Kohlensäure und eine beständige, ausgeprägte Blume. Nun den, auch geschmacklich ein elegantes, leichtes Bier. Ich kann die ganzen negativen Bewertungen von wegen schmeckt nach nix nicht verstehen. Bei einem Kristall sollte einem klar sein das hier kein absoluter Hopfentorpedo à la IPA oder sonstwas vor sich steht. Es ist ein spritzig, leichtes Bier weil gewollt! Und genau das trifft das Erdinger wie die Faust aufs Auge - ein suffiger, leicht bitter-citrischer Begleiter ohne Zwang zum Hauptcharakter. Ich finde so ein Kristallweizen hin und wieder mal spitze - es ist irgendwie das bessere Radler an heißen Sommertagen.
