I’ve probably been spoilt in that I’ve had some fantastic examples of bitter in the past, so this one wasn’t anything special. It’s quite the classic English bitter style though. Lots of malt character and a nice bittering finish, just nothing standout

It’s a proper golden colour, with a very flat head (as you’d expect from a “Bitter”) It’s got a faint aroma of caramel (possibly from the crystal malt) and it’s got a lovely flavour of toffee and malt(in a horlicks kinda way) with a light bitter aftertaste. All in all a good beer. These bad Co beers arrived in my local Asda and having tried them all I can definitely recommend considering they’re all Tallboys and you’d pay way way more for other beers of this standard.
