A second batch of homebrewed Sahti with a slightly modified recipe by the local villager. Almost murky, copper beer with no carbonation flows from canister. The beer forms very little of anything that could be called a head, only a thin ring of soapy bubbles on the surface. The scent is relatively full of banana, some of it approaching fermentation. Very sweet malt and soft sweet biscuit accompany in a milder form. The taste is a bit sappy, medium-full as for the taste, offering an expected nuance of overripe banana and faint mango. Sweet malt, slightly thinner as what the fragrance would suggest, and biscuit dough follow in the immediate proximity. The body is distinctly lighter than that of Juhannussahti 2018, probably medium. The beer finishes short with banana pie, sweet malt bread and hefty soft biscuit. The mouthfeel is light-sappy, medium-full, lip-glueing and flat.
