Flinders Rose is our interpretation of an unusual, yet resurgent,beer style. It is inspired by Göse Beers, the slightly salty wheat beers that became popular in Leipzig. Lord Chambray’s interpretation is characterized by the unique fragrance of Gozitan caper flowers which are added during the boiling process together with sea salt and local coriander. Flinders rose, as the caper flower is also known, gives this beer a fresh floral aromatic profile and soft salty flavour which culminate into a hedonistic mouthful. With a solid and deep body structure, Flinders Rose is a seasonal beer with a very drinkable character. Without doubt, this beer calls to mind exotic images of wind, sea and rocks, the home of our precious flinders rose.
