Well I dont know if I have ever had lingonberry before, so I don't know what it does to a beer. However,... I filled my glass with and oddly rusty grapefruit colored beer with a small lightly pink head. (No jokes now, it was cold....) not a particularly attractive beer, but rather intriguing. There is definite lime, and a distinctly berry note to the aroma. It reminds me of a lime, citrus berry spritzer type drink, at least in nasal nuances anyway. The tongue is assailed by a hefty tartness that reveals lime and something that I guess must be lingonberry at it abates. There is a mustiness to it that is actually pleasant for the style. A bit like a non sweetened grapefruit juice mixed with soda water. Refreshing and generous on flavour. I like it.
